Photo Quality WARNING
We provide guidelines for the minimum size of a photo to be used on the website, however we do not monitor or check the quality of an uploaded image. If you upload an image below our minimum recommended size of 500kb a warning will come up saying the photo is below our recommendations. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they are happy with the resolution (clarity) of an image being used. Pictures that fall below our minimum recommended size (500kb) may look OK when viewed online, but could appear blurry and pixilated when enlarged and printed. PhotoMaxing is not responsible for pictures that fail to meet expectations due to their small size.
www.photomaxing.co.nz is fully automated, we do not check, modify or enhance the image uploaded in anyway. If an image is dark, blurry or fuzzy it will print this way. We produce cards on high quality 265gsm paper using the latest digital printing methods. We do not do photo developing, therefore images will appear different to a camera shop image or printing onto photo quality paper.
PHOTO CARD BORDERS
The image you view in Step 2 (card type) is what will be
printed*. If your photo has been 'cropped' or moved to be centered
within the border it will print this way. Our system automatically
crops images to ensure they fit the frame you
have chosen. This is because there is a difference in the shape of most
digital camera images and the shape of standard print sizes (4x8, 5x7
and 8x10). We crop images equally on all sides. We do not stretch or
NO FRAME BORDERS - Our cards are trimmed to size, where a minimum of 3 mm
is cut off all
sides, this includes our 'no frame' cards where 3 mm
will be trimmed off all sides of your photo. Please ensure there are no important aspects of your photo that are close to the edge and run the risk of being trimmed off, this includes text you may have added to your own design/photo. If you have any concerns please email us. *NOTE: if you use a border that has the photo to the edge of the cards it is important to understand a minimum of 3 mm will be trimmed off your photo.
PhotoMaxing reserves the right to reprint or refund orders relating to photo quality or border colour/design. Refunds and reprints will be given at the discretion of the Company Management. All cards are individually checked prior to being dispatched and deemed to be best quality in relation to the uploaded image.
As all computer monitors are individually set, the colours of borders are provided as a guide only and may appear different when printed.
Adding text to cardsPhotoMaxing does not check, modify or correct customer's personal messages on the cards. What is typed and previewed online is exactly what will be printed on your cards. It is the customers' responsibility to ensure all text details are correct. All fonts, sizes and placement of text is pre-programmed into the border you choose, and cannot be modified. If you make a mistake on your cards please email us immediately to correct email@example.com
GLOSS & MATT PAPER FINISHIn Step 2 you can choose between a gloss or matt finish to your cards. The selection you make will apply to ALL cards being purchased within that 'set' eg if you are ordering 24 postcards and you have selected matt as the finish, then all 24 postcards will be matt coated. If your order contains two or more different types of cards, you can have a different finish per set of cards eg 8 greeting cards with gloss and 24 postcards with matt. Once you have completed your order the finish cannot be changed. You cannot have the finish split within a 'set' of cards. The website automatically defaults to Gloss, if you change your mind on your finish after your cards have been printed, PhotoMaxing will not provide a reprint or refund.

DISCOUNTSDiscounts offered are a percentage off the original priced cards. Only one discount can be used per order, either borders or products (eg postcards) are automatically discounted or the customer is required to enter a discount code in the checkout page to redeem their discount. Discount codes cannot be applied to already discounted cards. Discounts do not apply to freight. Discount codes must be entered before the order is submitted, we do not provide a refund if a discount code has been forgotten. If an automatic discount is offered for a range of borders eg 'baby thank you borders' the customer must use a border from this range to receive the discount.
PhotoMaxing offers an automatic volume discount when a certain number of cards are purchased in a single order. If this automatic discount is activated it is the only discount that will apply to your order. If you enter a discount code the website will advise your order has activated the discount code and the code you have just entered has not been applied. As above, one discount applies per order.
FREE FREIGHT SPECIAL: A free freight special is applicable to New Zealand orders only, international orders continue to pay the website listed pricing. Free freight offers will be an automatic discount calculated in the checkout.
