Our Story

PhotoMaxing is a NZ owned and operated business that was formed to provide a unique, affordable and easy way to be creative with your digital photos.

We found, like many New Zealanders, that creating a thank you card for a new baby or wedding was extremely time consuming, difficult and often more expensive than originally thought. The process behind the site was simple: create an easy to follow website that enabled customers to design personalised photo cards online themselves, at their convenience, for any occasion.

Over a year of research and development went into establishing this website. With numerous obstacles in our way, ranging from the functionality of the website to the perfect printing company, it was often a challenging process. However success was achieved, and the website was launched in January 2005.

PhotoMaxing has grown from strength to strength over the past two years. We recently added new functionality that enables customers to add their own personal message to the cards, and our range of customised wedding stationery is proving very popular.
